Spent my lunchtime writing this, after watching both films 3 times last night with the wife.....

Hans's matrix explained (Or how wrong was Hans after we watched revolutions)

Now as we all know the Matrix is a dream like state imposed on people, they think they are in the real world and are bound by its rules.

We also know that people who 'get out of hand' are hunted down by 'Agents', much like tivoli reporting an error.

Furthermore we know that everyone must have something similar to an IP address, as when they are being 'freed' the zion ships have to know where they are located, and what 'exit chute' they will come out of.

Therefore the Matrix is a large system, with programs that define the rules, the trees, the buildings, textiles , touch, feel etc...

Other programs look after these 'non sentient' programs, and ensure everything runs smoothly 'The Agents'

As its peoples conciousness that is in the Matrix, it stands to reason that an agent can 'infect' their conciousness in the was that Smith infected one of the Zion teams members who was then 'Awakened' back on his mothership.

Furthermore as Neo understands the matrix, and the matrix must be able to speak to the sentiniels outside of the matrix, we could say that neo could send radio signals via electro impulses when he was outside the matrix, this explains his ability to stop the sentiniels at the end of re-loaded.

With this explained, lets start examining the Matrix.....

To do this properly we must start from the end of Reloaded...

At the end of reloaded Neo is told that 99% of all 'people' in tha matrix behave themselves, but that 1% (The anomaly) are seen to be truoble, and dont accept the matrix. These 1 % must be cleansed from the system and as such is the reason why Zion exists.

Every now and then the anomaly grows and starts to affect the running of the matrix, when this happens the anomaly must be purged (Thus the 250'000 sentiels one for every man/woman/child in zion)

However 1% of the 1% is singled out, as this person must start zion over again so that further 'garbage collection' can be removed from the Matrix.

Heres the interesting bit.....

The Oracle in the first matrix was a program that organised the selection of the 1% of the 1%, and therefore pre-ordained the fate of Zion. If you remember the Oracle contacted Morpheus and told him he would find the one, prior to this we are told (In reloaded) that Morpheus was a normal 'Commander'. After the encounter with the Oracle, morpheus set about finding the 'one' who would 'save' zion.

The normal route of the one, was the same as the route Neo took, ie: Finding the Architect and re-starting zion (emptying the trash bin)

However, this time the Oracle told Trinity, that she would fall in love and that the person she fell in love with would be 'the one'. This was NOT the normal course of events, and as such the Oracle was sentenced to be 'archived/deleted/returned to the mainframe', we know this much as in revolutions the Oracle was not at her flat, educating the 'children' who would create the next Zion.

This also follows the pattern of revolutions, as the keymaker was a 'program' and in revolutions we seen the keymaker being retired 'Shot', this meant that there would never be another keymaker, or the need for another keymaker to open the 'one' door.

Therefore the Oracle had changed destiny, as now the one (neo) did not just care about mankind, but like most humans had a more significant connection to another human, a human who the Architect said would die anyway (trinity). Therefore when given a choice 'Humanity, or Trinity' Neo chose Trinity and this meant that there would not be anyone to re-start zion and that anomalies would build up in the matrix should zion fall. Again this may be the reason why zion does not fall in Reloaded (not seen it yet).

I will read your executive summary after I watch the film and then i'll tell you where you got it wrong

The US government lost my trust with the wire-tapping scandal. Ill side with Google.

Honestly though, I think the US government lost my trust long before the wire tapping. Perhaps it was when they forced their allegiance on Jose Marti and then snatched up the Philippines.

Or perhaps it was when they tarred and feather those loyalists. That was before there was a US government though, wasnt it?

Seems they never had my trust.
