Hello everyone,

Is it possible to set/configure some parameter(s) that will 'force' publish operation to complete with success even if there is an locked object (checked out) by user?
Like:
- publish starts -> found locked object -> skip locked object -> publish ends with success

I found one: error_threshold (set to 1) but it looks like it isnt working, still when there is an locked object publish operation will fail.

This is for Documentum 6.5 SP1

many thanks in advance for any help.

regards,
emeriks

As far as I know, publish operation does not fail for a locked object. We have several incremental publishings running daily and there are locked objects during business hours. But publishing does not fail for that reason. This is an OOTB functionality, no special config was made for this. Though we are using 5.3 sp6, I do not see this changing for 6.5 sp1. Can you paste the error you observe when publishing fails for a locked object?

Thanks,
